Farewell Chantel!

My first goodbye party for my wonderful coworker C and I've only been there for 2.5 months. No one else is leaving again anytime soon please! However, she did make a super awesome cake for us as a parting gift. It's so yummy I'm going to have to ask her for the recipe =p

My brother's gf was kind enough to bring us a tart for our bday celebration. The fruit tart with the custard filling and buttery crust was super yummy! Thanks G! :D

We celebrated my coming of 27 years of age via hotpot @ the girl's place. I worried we wouldn't have enough food, but as usual, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. We had wayyy too much left over! It was so much fun and it made me appreciate my friends SO much more. They were wonderful and amazing!

Sunday loungin' @ Cafe Sophie

H & I decided we'd check out this cafe in the Guerrero part of town. Neither of us have been there before, but it was pretty crackin'. I enjoyed the vibe there and there was a constant flow of guests. I imagine it was the awesome weather that was drawing all the neighbors and passerbys in :)
