Halloween was a blast this year! I had so much fun creating the costumes with my friends I can't wait for next year! Woohooo!!!

Getting festive for Halloween!

Halloween is just around the corner and everyone's getting super festive! Tonight a few of us got together to hang out and exercise our creative minds while sippin' on some wine and munching on some pizza fingers (below). It was great!

MUST.STUDY.

For those of you in school, you know how hard it is to study after a fairly long day. But we managed to make it better by getting our grub on with nachos and scrumptious white chocolate macadamian cookies! Woohooo!

Pho pho

Pho is best especially when it's cold out. We took our friends out for dinner and tried out this new joint. Pretty good for chi-town! And it was only a little piece of thank you for all that they did for us :)

Thai in Chi!

Mmm...Thai food here is pretty decent. I decided to step outside my usual dishes and try something new: chicken curry noodle. It turned out to be pretty yummy (and had a nice kick) after all! This means I really should branch out and see what other goodies are out there :)

btw- did you notice how there was a hole under our table to give you that illusion that you're sitting super close to the ground but not really cuz your feet hang out under? :) For the Americans you know =p

Occupy Chicago

Compared to what was going on in SF, this was considered a fairly peaceful march with some lovely musicians in tow. They pretty much just walked around the block and the cops were just hanging out with their swifty bikes.

Chicago style stuffed pizza

Mmmm...authentic Chicago style pizza and friends just make for the perfect experience in a new place. There was sooo much cheese I thought I was in heaven!

Insane pothole

Wow. This is the largest pothole that I've seen yet. It even began caving in...I'm super curious as to how they're going to fix it...

Mermaid's Tears

I fell in love with this color the moment I saw it. And the best thing is, I get compliments on it every time I wear it. In fact, I just got complimented by a classmate today who painted one of his walls a color similar to this! Woot! Can't go wrong with an always happy looking color :)
